Refunds & Returns
• Any incorrect, missing or damaged items received must be reported to COMPONENTS PLUS within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery.
• If item(s) received is not what you ordered please do not open the sealed packaging. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.
• No credit will be given on order price difference, due to price drops. Please select carefully at the time when you place your order.
• COMPONENTS PLUS owns the title of any extra goods shipped with your order that have been despatched in error.
Warranty Claims
• All goods sold by COMPONENTS PLUS come with a back to base manufacturer warranty; unless otherwise stated. This warranty is not transferable. The system warranty only covers the system unit; it does not extend to any peripheral components or software. All peripheral components are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranty.
• Goods under warranty cover will be replaced or repaired by the manufacturers. No refund will be provided under any circumstances.
• COMPONENTS PLUS is responsible for the handling of most product warranty processes. Warrantees for individual parts we sell are provided by the manufacturers, not COMPONENTS PLUS.
• Warranty only covers the item(s) sold by COMPONENTS PLUS. Warranty does not cover any other equipment used in conjunction with the item(s) sold by COMPONENTS PLUS.
• COMPONENTS PLUS does not handle warranty claim for those goods where the manufacturer accepts direct warranty claims from customers.
• DOA items must be reported within 7 days from the time you receive your goods. Failure to report a DOA item within 7 days will result in an invalid claim for DOA.
• Customers must contact COMPONENTS PLUS to request an RA prior to returning the goods to us.
• If the returned goods are determined by COMPONENTS PLUS not to be faulty, then all shipping fees will be worn by the customer. COMPONENTS PLUS also reserves the right to charge the labour cost for examining these goods where no fault is found.
• All warrantees are voided if returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, incorrectly installed, modified, tampered, abused, physically damaged or used under wrong voltage etc.
• COMPONENTS PLUS is not responsible for any data or the security of any data contained in any returned goods. We do not provide data recovery services for free or as part of our standard service.
• Please attach a copy of the original invoice when returning goods. A detailed fault description must be sent together with all the returning warranty goods.
• The customer is responsible for proper packaging of RA returns. All warranties will be void on items that are insufficiently or inaccurately packaged. The customer is responsible for all the shipping charges associated with returning the defective merchandise. If any item(s) returned for warranty claim is determined to be physically damaged, the item(s) will be returned to the customer as is.
• The customer is responsible for any shipping and insurance cost involved in sending the warranty claim goods back to COMPONENTS PLUS. COMPONENTS PLUS is not responsible for any parcel missing in transit.
Warranty Turnaround Time
• Turnaround time for warranty claims depends on the suppliers and/or the distributors. Please understand the time involved for a warranty claim will include: our time to test the item, shipping back to the supplier, supplier's own tests and replacement/repair, and then shipping back to us.
• We do not provide advance replacement under any circumstances. COMPONENTS PLUS is not responsible for any losses resulting from the time it takes to have the faulty item replaced or repaired.
